Tammy Harris is an Orton-Gillingham tutor and structured literacy educator who works with children who struggle with reading, including those with dyslexia and other learning differences.

Drawing on her experience helping students build confidence and reading skills, Tammy writes decodable stories designed to give developing readers successful reading experiences. Her books follow structured literacy principles and are created to help children practice the skills they are learning while enjoying engaging stories.

When she is not writing, Tammy works directly with students and families, helping children become stronger, more confident readers one step at a time.
